Responsible for all aspects of order processing. This includes everything from entering new orders to inspecting shipments to managing customer satisfaction and more. They must also work with other departments as needed and direct warehouse personnel to get shipments out.
· Communicates clearly with the customers, ensuring that they understand all the changes that are being made to their orders & what the potential alternatives are.
· Makes the customer feel valued, heard and maintain a positive tone.
· 100% accurate with all additions and removals made.
· Checking and Accuracy
· Responsible for pre-checking and final checking their order to ensure that it reflects the customer’s order 100% with no lacking or over-picked items.
· Checks the item barcode matches the product on hand and will check for alternate barcodes in case of discrepancies.
· Reports any mismatching images or product descriptions.
· Minimizes errors reported from other team (forgetting to remove items, wrong remove of in stock items from the order, adding items without picking, lacking markings or adding the wrong substitute)
· Concerns relating to Order Specialist negligence (poor tone of voice, lack of communication or failure to amend picklist correctly)
