We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Port Admin for providing efficient and effective administrative support to ensure the smooth operations of port activities.
What you'll be doing
- Manage a wide range of administrative tasks, including daily cash sales reporting, document organization, journal entry on the daily sales transactions, bank deposit.
- Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders
- Coordinate with the Port Supervisor regarding discrepancies in the cash count and take immediate action.
- Ensure confidentiality of information received specially in the management info's.
- Ensure the safety of the cash flow.
What we're looking for
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in any related field and/or equivalent experience.
- At least 1 year working experience as Admin Assistant in the Shipping Industry has an advantage and with basic background in accounting principle.
- Good working knowledge of operational procedures and policies
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Problem-solving skills and the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
- Knowledge of office management best practices and procedures
- Organizational skills, experience in meeting tight deadlines
- Can start immediately
