About the role
The Pricing Analyst II will be responsible for reviewing Insight pricing to resolve inconsistencies, identify efficiencies, and provide consistent service to the organization as it pertains to Pricing. These functions will provide clarity in reporting and data mining. The individual is expected to act as an ambassador of the pricing team to consult on projects and design consistent processes based on pricing policy. This person will work closely with the sales, support, and cross-functional teams, while reporting directly to the Pricing Director. You will get to:
- Execute price cleansing activities
- Perform actions focused in areas such as client profitability, freight margins, special costing discount retention, and other impactful areas as defined.
- Complete process review based on findings in the data to identify efficiencies
- Provide modeling based on dynamic data elements
- Participate in cross functional teams to complete projects initiated by the executive committee
- Analyze trends in pricing and provide recommendations
- Prepare external and internal reporting for pricing metrics
- Communicate with sales management and AEs within area of responsibility to report on progress toward goals and influence appropriate actions.

What we’re looking for
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with large customer databases.
- Advanced spreadsheet skills
- Familiarity with Databricks and/or SQL
- Ability to analyze information to support fact-based decisions
- Ability to work well in cross-functional teams
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to meet aggressive service-level agreements
- Excellent communications and customer service skills
- Strong financial, operational and business acumen
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and SAP
