Job Summary:
- Oversees the planning and delivery of projects, specifically organizing, and directing the completion of specific projects ensuring they are on time, on budget, and within the agreed scope.
- Oversees projects from inception to completion, have the potential to shape the company’s path, help reduce costs, maximize company efficiencies, and increase revenue.
- Responsible for the Project Life Cycle which consistof five phases (or processes) such as Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring, and Controlling and Closing
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with the team members regularly to determine the status of various projects and potential roadblocks that will need to be resolved.
- Communicate with key stakeholders on project progress and ensure that the project still aligns with changing company initiatives.
- Identify issues and resolve it caused by project scope, budget, resource allocation, and otherissues in order to keep the project on track.
- Responsible for deployment of risk management processes, from risk assessment to timely/ early identification of possible risks.
- Ensuring a minimum risk threshold and providing support to limit risks by bringing awareness among staff through proper training and coaching.
- Review budgets regularly to ensure the project does not exceed resource allocations. This includes reviewing, processing, and approving invoices from outside vendors if the project includes such partnerships.
- Ensure that theproject remains on track or ensuring that the project is moving along as planned, keep timesheets or project management software to see how the team is spending their time and help shift resources between projects as necessary.
- Be able tomanage the team in order to keep them productive and motivated.
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues.
- Perform other duties related to this function as directed by the management to support the operation, from time to time.
Job Specification:
- EDUCATION: Graduate of any four (4) year Engineering Course: Mechanical/Civil/Electrical, preferably with professional license
- WORK EXPERIENCE: With at least five (5) years of managerial capacity in healthcare industry
- KEY COMPETENCIES :
- Project management, building construction and design.
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures, material, and project management principles.
- Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
- Oral and written communication skills
- Negotiating and third-party relationship
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong leadership skills for coaching, guiding, and motivating team members.
- Risk management skills for identifying and planning potential risks.
- Critical Thinking and Problem - solving skills.
- Computer literate, with CAD skills an advantage.
