Purpose of the Position: Reporting to the Safety Supervisor, the Project Nurse is responsible for the preparation and implementation of the Occupational Health Programs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement wellness and health program
- Administer first aid treatment and proper medication to employees as needed.
- In case of any accident, accompany the injured employee to the nearest hospital
- Maintain medical and other health-related records of all employees
- Organize regular medical examinations of all employees
- Monitor the stock inventory of medicines and other necessary supplies from time to time
- Investigate and report on all serious/critical personal injury accidents occurring to employees
- Assist in the investigation of all accidents/incidents that result in substantial damage to vehicles and property
- Investigate and report on complaints of hazardous working conditions
- Conduct toolbox meetings for management, supervisors, and workers on health and safety practices
- Inspect machinery and equipment to make sure they meet safety regulations
- Perform other duties and responsibilities that may be required from time to time
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Registered Nurse
- Minimum of one (1) year of work-related experience in an occupational setting
- Must be willing to work in Norzagaray, Bulacan.
- High level of interpersonal skills and integrity;
- Creative, forward thinker.
- Able to deliver effective results, meet tight deadlines and targets
- Ability to interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient.
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
- A reliable professional who follows the organization and department procedures; and completes tasks promptly.
