Job Description
- Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs
- Research potential suppliers
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery
- Update internal databases with order details (dates, quantities, discounts)
- Evaluate offers from vendors and negotiate better prices
- Maintain updated records of invoices and contracts
- Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders
- Liaise with warehouse staff to ensure all products arrive in good condition
Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
- Proven work experience as an Administrative Staff or Purchasing Staff
- Solid knowledge of office procedures
- Experience with office management software like MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, specifically)
- Strong organization skills with a problem-solving attitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail
