Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor daily purchasing activities of the company.
- Supervise purchasing staffs.
- Able to communicate with local and offshore supplier, review and negotiate contracts / prices, monitor delivery timelines.
- Proactively seek out potential suppliers to broaden our vendor master list.
- Able to collaborate with internal customer for sound purchasing decision, assess risk or communicate issues or delays that will affect our overall business performance.
- Ensure proper maintenance of purchase records and related purchasing documentation.
- Ensure that all procured goods and services meet the required quality standards of the company.
- Partners with QA Department to ensure suppliers submits audit related documents and certification.
- Prepare cost estimates and conduct supplier cost comparison and analysis
- Prepare and submit correct and complete import documents to release goods in a timely manner.
- Work to improve purchasing systems and processes .
- Performs task assigned from time to time.
