Job description:
Pre-procedural Care:
- Complete and update radiology assessment forms, including medical history, allergies, contraindications for contrast media, and vital signs.
- Ensure all informed consent forms for contrast media, sedation, and interventional procedures are properly signed and filed.
- Educate and prepare patients for procedures, explaining risks and answering questions.
- Establish IV access for contrast administration or sedation.
Intra-procedural Support:
- Monitor patient vital signs and comfort throughout the procedure
- Administer medications or sedatives under physician direction
- Assist radiologists during interventional or invasive procedures
- Respond to adverse reactions or medical emergencies during imaging exams
Post-procedural Care:
- Monitor patients in recovery following sedation or contrast administration
- Provide post-procedure instructions and education to patients and caregivers
- Document nursing care, assessments, medications administered and any incidents
- Coordination and Communication:
- Collaborate with physicians, radiologic technologists and other nurses
- Ensure safe and timely transport of patients to and from the radiology department
- Maintain accurate and complete nursing documentation and procedural records
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- With valid PRC license
- IV Therapy, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certifications
- With a minimum 1-2 years of experience in critial care, emergency or rediology nursing preffered

- Effective communication and patient education abilities
- Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
