Overview
The Recruitment and Onboarding Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring a seamless and efficient onboarding experience for newly hired IT/Technical employees. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, IT and Technical Recruitment, this role serves as a central point of contact for candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders throughout the onboarding journey. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional candidate and stakeholder experiences.
Responsibilities
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruitment Operations & Onboarding Coordination
- Screen and assess candidates for Development/IT positions.
- Manage job postings across the company website, recruitment portals, and other digital platforms.
- Supervise and administer technical testing as part of the recruitment process.
- Evaluate candidates' technical competencies against job descriptions and test results.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for newly hired IT/Technical employees from offer acceptance through the first day of employment.
- Manage and execute all pre-boarding and onboarding logistics including document collection, systems access, equipment handoff, and internal notifications.
- Craft and send onboarding communications covering company information, schedules, expectations, and reminders.
- Ensure new hire data is accurately captured, and all onboarding steps are completed in a timely and compliant manner.
Stakeholder Engagement & Process Improvement
- Partner closely with IT, HR, Facilities, and business units to align onboarding workflows and timelines.
- Act as a subject matter expert on onboarding processes and systems, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Proactively address onboarding concerns from candidates and stakeholders, providing resolution with professionalism and care.
- Support recruitment initiatives and contribute to projects as needed to enhance the end-to-end hiring experience.
- Identify bottlenecks in onboarding processes and recommend improvements for increased efficiency and candidate experience.
Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare and send daily/weekly onboarding status reports to the Tech Recruitment team and leadership.
- Maintain and update onboarding trackers, checklists, and other relevant documents.
- Monitor onboarding metrics and ensure compliance with internal policies and data confidentiality standards.
- Collaborate with recruiters to ensure smooth handoff from candidate selection to onboarding phase.
- Perform additional ad hoc tasks and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Educational Qualification/s
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Psychology, or equivalent
Professional Qualification/s
- Minimum of 1 year relevant working experience
- Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
Work Conditions
- Hybrid Schedule – Required to work in the office 3 to 4 times per week
- Contract: 3 months to start, with the potential to go full-time
