Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage end-to-end recruitment processes for sea-based roles.
- Job posting, source, screen, and shortlist qualified candidates (officers, ratings, engineers, etc.) for deployment on various vessel types (tankers, bulk carriers, and LPG vessels).
- Ensure all crew documentation, certification, and medicals comply with international standards and company policies.
- Liaise with manning agencies, maritime academies, and other industry partners to build a talent pipeline.
- Maintain and update the crewing database.
- Schedule and conduct interviews, assessments, and reference checks.
- Ensure compliance with Maritime Labour Convention (MLC) and flag state requirements during the hiring process.
- Support audits (internal and external) related to crew recruitment and crewing processes.
- Provide reports and analytics on recruitment KPIs and trends to management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Maritime Studies, Business Administration, or related field.
- With prior experience in maritime recruitment or crewing is highly desirable.
- Must have a wide network/pool of seafarer candidates.
- Familiarity with maritime labor conventions, STCW, and other maritime documents.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and crewing/recruitment software.
- High level of organization and attention to detail.
- With good presentation and negotiation skills.
