Job description
The School Nurse is responsible for the health and well-being of students and staff by providing professional nursing services, health education, and promoting a healthy school environment. The nurse ensures compliance with health regulations and serves as a liaison between school, family, and community health resources.
Job Description.
- Provide first aid and emergency care to students and staff as needed.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with school policy.
- Maintain accurate health records, including immunizations and health histories.
- Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student health concerns.
- Collaborate with school staff to manage students with chronic conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes).
- Monitor for signs of communicable diseases and take appropriate action.
- Promote a healthy school environment through education and health awareness.
- Follow and enforce school health policies, confidentiality rules, and legal requirements.
- Document all care provided during shift for continuity.
- Ensure the health office is stocked, clean, and organized.
QUALIFICATION:
- With valid RN License
- Preferrably with BOSH or OHNAP
- With at least 6mos of experience as School nurse
- Willing to be assigned in Alviera Porac Pampanga..
- Willing to start ASAP.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Php1,000.00 per day
Expected hours: 8 per week
