JOB DESCRIPTION:
· Inspect the site to ensure it is a hazard-free environment
· Verifies that all tools and equipment are adequate and safe for use
· Promotes safe practices at the job site
· Enforces safety guidelines
· Establishes safety standards and policies as needed
· Monitor the safety of all workers and work to protect them from entering hazardous situations
· Coordinate with HRD on relevant issues
· Perform emergency response drills
· Serves as the link between clients, contractors, and management
· Manage well the site personnel and all lease operators, completing records, ensuring certifications and maintaining personnel data when require
· Keep supervisor informed and seek directions on matter requiring deviation from established guidelines
· Assist engineers to develop, recommend, and implement approved operating procedures
· Follow all safety rules
· Application of chemical in projects
· Perform any related task that may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications
- Certified Safety Officer 2- Valid Certification on Basic Occupational Safety & Health (BOSH)
- With 2 years of experience as safety officer
-With experience as PCO
- Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices
- Willing to be assigned outside Metro Manila
