Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and Implementing Sales & Marketing Strategies:This includes identifying target markets, creating promotional materials, and managing advertising campaigns according to ZipRecruiter.
- Maximizing Revenue:This involves increasing occupancy rates, promoting special events, and finding new business opportunities.
- Building and Maintaining Client Relationships:This includes nurturing relationships with travel agents, corporate clients, and other key stakeholders.
- Monitoring and Analyzing Sales Data:This involves tracking sales performance, identifying areas for improvement, and adjusting strategies accordingly.
- Collaborating with Other Departments:This ensures a cohesive approach to customer service and satisfaction.
- Managing Budgets and Reporting:This includes tracking expenses and providing regular reports on sales and marketing activities.
Specific Roles within Sales & Marketing:
- Sales Coordinator:Acts as a point of contact for clients, assists with event planning and coordination, and supports the overall sales and marketing team.
- Marketing Coordinator:Assists with the planning, execution, and reporting of marketing activities, including content creation for both print and digital platforms according to www.thehotelindustry.com.
- Sales Manager:Focuses on driving revenue through sales strategies, building relationships with clients, and negotiating contracts.
- Director of Sales & Marketing:Leads the sales and marketing team, develops overall sales strategies, and ensures the hotel's revenue goals are met.
