Job Description
1. Maintains existing sales accounts and assists the department in forecasting and achieving the sales budget.
2. Maximize effort in developing new accounts and target markets in assigned sales areas through product presentations, seminars and trial mixes to clients.
3. Ensures customer satisfaction by regular sales calls, providing the right products at the right time and quantity and by attending to customer inquiries/complaints/problems.
4. Updates self with existing and upcoming construction projects; analyzes market information and prepares strategies, plans and sales forecasts.
5. Ensures that all accounts in her areas are secured with proper credit recommendations; gives price quotations according to the given range/limit.
6. Monitors the flow of sales operations in every customer – from sales ordering to delivery.
7. Takes charge of the collection of receivables and counter receipt of sales invoices and delivery receipts.
8. Responsible to monitor Sika products handled by distributors and customers to ensure efficient inventory management and proper storage of Sika products.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering is mandatory. Candidates must have completed a rigorous four-year engineering program from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in Sales Engineering, Construction Solutions, or Industrial Construction is required. This experience must demonstrate a proven track record of success in the field.
- Candidates must possess in-depth knowledge of engineering principles and their practical applications in sales and construction environments.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex technical information are essential for this role.
- Excellent communication skills are crucial, as the position involves frequent interaction with clients and stakeholders at various levels.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet demanding sales targets is a key requirement.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications and tools used in the construction and sales industry is necessary.
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned sales territory are non-negotiable requirements.
