About The Role
If you're someone who enjoys solving puzzles, adores dogs, and relishes conversations about them, this role is for you! The name of the game here is proactive problem-solving. Your main responsibility will be to streamline scheduled appointments, ensuring our Pet Stylists spend less time driving and more time grooming. This is critical for enhancing our stylists' schedules, optimizing routes, reducing drive times, maximizing revenue, and boosting grooming efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to a positive and memorable experience for both our Stylists and clients.
As a Scheduling Optimization Associate in our fast-growing startup, you'll drive growth by optimizing a high volume of appointments. The ideal candidate is proactive in ensuring superior client experiences, adept at route mapping, keenly attentive to details, and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities:
Efficiently manage and optimize the schedules for our talented pet stylists, ensuring smooth operations and maximizing appointments.
Partner with the Central Operations Manager to regulate and maintain recurring schedules to minimize drive time between appointments and improve both Pet Stylist satisfaction and the Client experience
Reschedule appointments in advance for reasons such as Pet Stylists' departures, leaves of absence, sick days, vacations, and more.
Proactively identify scheduling challenges and develop solutions to ensure seamless service to our furry clients and their humans.
Collaborate closely with the Central Operations Manager, Grooming Operations Managers, and other team members to ensure preferences, breaks, and availability are considered and integrated.
Continuously look for ways to enhance the scheduling process, leveraging technology and tools to ensure efficiency.
Contribute to a positive work environment when interfacing with external and cross-functional teams
Be excited to master details around specific dog characteristics & multiple geographies to achieve operational excellence.
Contribute positively to our vibrant team culture, fostering open communication and a spirit of teamwork.

Required Qualifications:
Must be both a people and dog lover!
Previous experience in scheduling or similar roles is a plus, but not mandatory.
Minimum 3 years of experience working in a relevant client-facing role.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding goals.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail
Critical thinker for continuous improvement
Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization.
Proficient with Google productivity suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc).
Compensation:
$5-6 per hour
