Location Requirement: This is a hybrid role. Our office is located at Arthaland Century Pacific Tower, 5th Avenue, BGC. This role is required to go into our office at least one day a week.

Job summary

The Servicing Operations Coordinator is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to homeowners, resolving loan servicing issues, and ensuring accurate and timely processing of Home Equity Investment-related transactions and documents. This role requires an understanding of the mortgage industry and/or home equity investments, excellent communication skills, and a focus on customer satisfaction.

Job responsibilities

  • Respond to homeowner inquiries regarding their mortgage loans via phone and email.
  • Make outbound calls to Homeowners as necessary.
  • Proactively identify and resolve common Home Equity Investment servicing inquiries such as Payoff statement requests and quarterly statement questions.
  • Assist homeowners facing financial challenges with empathy and patience.
  • Process and maintain accurate Home Equity-related documents (e.g., Valuation documents, sales contracts and 3rd party authorization forms).
  • Review Sales Contracts and home Appraisals completeness.
  • Assist in Updating Homeowner Evidence of Insurance Documents.
  • Utilize Point's proprietary servicing software and provide feedback on ways to improve workflows.
  • Ensure strict adherence to industry regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Manage workload effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Contact local counties to verify property tax payment status.
  • Provide feedback to product and engineering teams on product needs and updates.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in the mortgage or Home Equity Investment (HEI) industry.
  • Strong understanding of the mortgage industry; experience with Home Equity Investments preferred.
  • Experience in mortgage servicing, reviewing appraisals or title reports, and working with Salesforce is a plus.
  • Familiarity with mortgage servicing regulations (e.g., RESPA, TILA, FDCPA, HPA, SAFE Act, UDAAP) preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer service mindset.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to quickly learn new systems and applications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace; experience with mortgage servicing software is a plus.
