Web Developer
About the Role:
We are seeking a Shopify Expert versed in Shopify Liquid and experienced in customizing Shopify themes, apps, and store functionality. This role focuses heavily on Shopify store development, customization, and optimization, while familiarity with WooCommerce and other CMS are a plus. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering seamless e-commerce experiences.
Responsibilities:
- E-Commerce Store Setup: Build, configure, and launch Shopify and WooCommerce stores that meet business requirements and offer an exceptional user experience.
- Theme & Plugin Customization: Customize themes and templates for both Shopify (Liquid) and WordPress (PHP-based), ensuring responsive design and functionality across all devices.
- Product Management: Manage product catalogs on both platforms, including adding/editing products, optimizing content and images, and organizing categories/collections.
- Payment & Shipping Integration: Set up and configure payment gateways, shipping options, and tax rules for seamless transactions in both Shopify and WooCommerce.
- App/Plugin Integration: Research, install, and configure third-party apps and plugins to extend store functionality and meet specific needs.
- Store Optimization: Improve site performance, SEO, and user experience for both platforms to enhance traffic, engagement, and conversions.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve technical issues, such as theme conflicts, plugin errors, and site bugs.
- Analytics & Reporting: Monitor KPIs using Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, and WordPress analytics tools. Generate reports and provide actionable insights.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, design, and development teams to ensure the websites align with branding and campaign strategies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience developing and managing Shopify and WordPress/WooCommerce websites.
- Proficient in Liquid (Shopify), PHP (WordPress), HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Solid understanding of e-commerce architecture, plugin/app ecosystems, and CMS best practices.
- Knowledge of SEO principles and tools to optimize product and site visibility.
- Familiarity with performance optimization tools for both platforms.
- Proficiency with Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, and WordPress-specific reporting tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple projects.
- Excellent communication and time-management skills.
- Experience in content or digital marketing is a plus.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Php400.00 - Php450.00 per hour
