About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Shopify Product Administrator to join our Operations team. This role plays a key part in maintaining and enhancing the accuracy, visibility, and overall quality of our product listings on the Shopify platform, ensuring a seamless customer experience across our digital channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the Spare Parts portal on Shopify, ensuring accurate product listings, pricing, descriptions, and inventory levels.
- Manage and optimize product data to enhance searchability, visibility, and conversion rates.
- Conduct routine audits to ensure product information is consistent, up-to-date, and error-free.
- Collaborate with internal teams including design, development, marketing, and sales to ensure platform alignment.
- Support inventory tracking and proper product categorization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve product listing issues and ensure platform functionality.
- Stay updated with Shopify features, tools, and best practices to continuously improve product management processes.
- Support the ongoing maintenance of the Prosys sales portal to reflect updated product and pricing information.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to update promotional banners, campaign pages, and seasonal offers across platforms.
Qualifications
Required:
- At least 1 year of experience working with eCommerce platforms, preferably Shopify
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word
- Basic understanding of HTML and CSS
- Experience handling large volumes of product data and catalog-based product listings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and follow established procedures
- Tertiary qualification or equivalent relevant experience
Preferred (not required):
- Familiarity with SEO and product optimization techniques
- Experience using image editing tools (e.g., Canva, Photoshop)
- Willingness to learn Shopify Liquid, JavaScript, or other relevant web technologies
