- Assess community needs, resources, and priorities through surveys, interviews, and field visits.
- Develop and implement community programs aimed at improving social services, education, health, and livelihood.
- Provide counseling, referral, and support services to individuals, families, and vulnerable groups.
- Facilitate training, workshops, and community capacity-building activities.
- Build partnerships with government agencies, NGOs, local leaders, and community organizations.
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, preparing regular reports and recommendations.
- Advocate for policies and programs that promote social justice, equity, and sustainable community growth.
- Maintain accurate case records, reports, and documentation in compliance with regulations.
Qualifications and competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Community Development, Sociology, or related field (Licensed Social Worker preferred).
- Licensed Teacher are preferred.
- Experience in community organizing, social welfare programs, or development projects is an advantage.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse communities.
- Knowledge of government social programs, welfare laws, and community development frameworks.
