A Sourcing Manager for Recruitment is responsible for developing and executing strategies to proactively source and build a pipeline of top talent. They manage sourcing teams, use data-driven approaches to improve sourcing efficiency, and partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Talent Sourcing Strategy: Design and implement proactive sourcing strategies for different roles and departments.
- Candidate Pipeline Management: Build and maintain pipelines of qualified candidates for current and future needs.
- Team Leadership: Manage a team of sourcers or sourcing specialists.
- Market Intelligence: Analyze talent market trends, competitors, and candidate behavior to refine sourcing tactics.
- Technology & Tools: Leverage platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever), and CRM tools.
- Partnership with Recruiters: Collaborate closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements and prioritize sourcing needs.
- Metrics & Reporting: Track and report on sourcing metrics such as time-to-source, pipeline quality, and conversion rates.
- Employer Branding: Contribute to initiatives that enhance the employer brand and candidate experience.
Key Skills
- Deep knowledge of sourcing techniques (Boolean search, X-ray, social media recruiting)
