PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION
Role involves conducting tours, participating in sports and recreational activities, and assisting in the development of innovative games and revenue-generating programs for Sports and Recreation / Aquatic Sports / Sports Center.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Guest Engagement and Tours:
- Conduct personalized and group tours of the resort's sports and recreation facilities
- Provide detailed information about available activities, events, and programs
- Assist guests in choosing recreational activities based on their preferences
- Foster a welcoming and friendly environment for members and guests during their visit
Sports and Recreational Activities:
- Actively participate in sports and recreational activities, playing alongside guests to enhance their experience
- Serve as an instructor or coach for various sports or fitness programs
- Organize and supervise tournaments, games, and team-building exercises
- Demonstrate proper use of sports equipment and ensure the safety of all participants
Program Development:
- Collaborate with the Sports and Recreation Manager to develop innovative games, sports leagues, and recreational programs tailored to members' interests
- Assist in creating revenue-generating programs and activities to enhance the department's profitability
- Stay updated on the latest trends in sports and recreation to Introduce new ideas to the resort
Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring member satisfaction
- Promote and encourage participation in resort activities and programs
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with members and guests
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
Interpersonal and Communication Skills:
- Ability to engage effectively with members and guests of all ages
- Strong verbal communication skills for guiding tours, coaching, and resolving inquiries
Sports Proficiency and Instruction:
- In-depth knowledge of and skill in multiple sports and recreational activities
- Coaching or teaching certifications in relevant sports are highly desirable
Creativity and Program Development:
- Innovative mindset for creating new activities, events, and programs tailored to the high standards of the resort
- Understanding of trends in sports, wellness, and recreation

REQUIREMENT
- Bachelor's degree in Sports Science, Physical Education, Hospitality Management, or related field (preferred)
- Experience in a customer-facing role in sports recreation or hospitality
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in multiple sports or recreational activities: coaching certifications are a plus
- Ability to develop engaging activities and programs that align with resort's standards
- Energetic, outgoing, and proactive attitude
