We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Spray Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces, mixing paints, and applying paint, varnish, and other finishes using spray guns & paint brush. The Spray Painter will ensure high-quality finishes that meet company standards and client requirements while maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mix and match paints to achieve desired color and consistency.
- Operate spray painting equipment and apply paint or coating evenly.
- Inspect painted surfaces for quality, making touch-ups or corrections as needed.
- Follow safety procedures for handling paints, solvents, and spray equipment.
- Maintain and clean painting tools, spray guns, and work area.
- Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, or specifications.
- Ensure proper drying and curing of painted surfaces.
- Meet production deadlines while ensuring quality standards.
- Report equipment malfunctions or material shortages.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as a Spray Painter ( furniture preferred).
- Knowledge of different paint types, finishes, and application techniques.
- Ability to mix paints accurately and apply consistent coatings.
- Attention to detail with a strong eye for quality and finish.
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods.
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and PPE use.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical training is a plus).
- Minimum of 1 year of spray painting experience.
Working Conditions:
- Workshop, factory, or construction site environment.
- Exposure to fumes, dust, and chemicals (PPE provided).
- May require overtime to meet deadlines.
