We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing warehouse staff, ensuring efficient inventory management, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervisory Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including pickers, packers, and loaders.
- Train and mentor new employees on warehouse procedures and safety protocols.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
- Schedule and manage employee work hours to meet operational needs.
- Inventory Management:
- Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
- Ensure accurate inventory records are maintained.
- Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile discrepancies.
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures.
- Operational Efficiency:
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow to maximize efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze warehouse performance metrics.
- Identify and implement process improvements to reduce costs and improve service.
- Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Enforce safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and address any hazards.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
- Oversee the proper maintenance of warehouse equipment.
- Coordination and Communication:
- Coordinate with other departments, such as logistics and customer service, to ensure smooth operations.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and management.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on warehouse activities.
Qualifications:
- With Bachelor's Degree
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with e-commerce logistics is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
