SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER
Job Purpose:
A supply chain manager is responsible for ensuring a business can efficiently source raw materials, manufacture products, store inventory, and transport shipments to consumers or wholesalers. Their duties include analyzing logistics data to refine the supply chain, negotiating business relationships and communicating with suppliers and distributors, and developing and monitoring supply chain strategies.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Create the company’s supply chain strategy
2. Analyze data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other issues .
3. Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes
4. Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards
5. Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals
6. Optimize warehouse functions.
7. Maintains required quantity of supplies and materials to optimize production.
8. Analyzes current inventories and procedures, suggests improvements to increase efficiency of supply chain and profitability for the company.
9. Monitor the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and other delivery requirements, identities and qualifies new suppliers in collaboration with other departments.
10. Follows Company Rules and Regulations, Code of Discipline and other Policies and Memos
11. Performs other duties as maybe assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:
- 2 to 3 years of proven experience working in Planning Department
- Graduate of any four-year course
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationship with vendors, suppliers and leadership skills.
- Good listening skills with an aptitude for superior written and verbal communications
- Experience using all Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Strong knowledge on the production processes and capacity of storage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
