Position Overview
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process to ensure clients and the organization attract, engage, and retain high-quality talent. This role requires expertise in sourcing, candidate assessment, and employer branding while leveraging recruitment technology and best practices. The specialist partners closely with hiring managers to deliver effective staffing solutions aligned with business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, from requisition to onboarding, for assigned roles.
- Partner with hiring managers to craft job descriptions and develop tailored recruitment strategies.
- Source candidates through job boards, professional networks, social media, and referrals.
- Screen applications, conduct interviews, and administer assessments to evaluate candidate fit.
- Present qualified shortlists with clear hiring recommendations.
- Monitor and report on key recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and quality-of-hire.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Build and maintain pipelines for recurring or future hiring needs.
Job Qualifications
Skills & Competencies
Core:
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to balance candidate advocacy with client/business requirements.
- Skilled in managing multiple requisitions with attention to deadlines.
Technical:
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools.
- Knowledge of employment law, hiring compliance, and recruitment best practices.
- Familiarity with candidate assessment methods and interviewing techniques.
Bonus/Nice-to-Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Psychology, Business, or related field.
- HR/Recruitment certification (e.g., CIR, AIRS, SHRM-CP).
- Experience in employer branding or recruitment marketing.
