Job Description:
We are looking for a Technical Documentation Specialist with experience in the software industry and a basic background in software development to join our remote team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our onshore team and work directly with the company’s director.
Your primary responsibility will be to create clear, accurate, and well-structured technical reports based on client-provided materials and your own research. In some cases, you may also review raw audio files to ensure accuracy and completeness.
This role is ideal for someone who is a fast learner, adaptable, and eager to explore new technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write technical reports using client input and research
- Review audio files when necessary to verify information
- Collaborate directly with the company director
- Follow established technical writing processes and standards
Qualifications:
- Excellent written communication skills in English
- Basic hands-on experience in software development (e.g., Java, .NET) — required
- At least 2 years of experience in a software-related or writing role
- Strong interest and passion for technical writing
- Experience in report writing is essential
- Able to work independently and manage tasks efficiently
- Quick to learn new tools and concepts
- Stable internet connection (minimum 5 Mbps for video calls and file downloads)
- Academic writing experience is a plus
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary range: Php 25,000/month to Php 30,000/month (commensurate with experience)
- 13th-month pay
