- Monitors and lift impediments of clients according to the arrangement per shipper with Trans Asia Shipping Lines, Inc
- Responsible in providing updates of in yard boxes at CY and Terminal and gives timely update and progress to the team
- Monitors weight discrepancy of cargoes that in yard at terminal
- Process requests on Extra Services with Manila North Harbor Port Inc.
- Process holds impediments of cargoes for loading on it’s assigned vessel voyage, based on N4 system of MNHPI
- Ensures the Online Payment System (OPS) of TASLI has sufficient funds needed in the lifting of impediments, and make necessary request with Finance and Treasury for the replenishment
- Communicates with Customer Service for accounts of shipper subject for lifting using their own Online Payment System (client owned OPS access)
- Prepares Load list of the vessel
- Cascades daily the volume build -up generated per vessel voyage. Information is relayed to the Sales, customer service and operations
- Performs load plan and load confirmed on Load Planning Module at SVM
- Performs Operational Reset on Operations Reset Module of SVM
- Communicates with the Origin port counterparts on pending movement entries that causes delays on SVM to continue perform the cycle in the system
- Review and validates the charges deducted from TASLI’s revolving Fund and similarly communicates with MNHPI should there be discrepancies on the cost charged to TASLI’s account
- Prepares the ff Report/s
1. Final Load list
2. Online Payment System (OPS) Report
3. Prepares Request for Payment (RFP) for OPS Replenishment
4. Prepares Request for Payment (RFP) for MNHPI Revolving Fund
5. Inbound Manifest Report to be submitted to the Operations Manager
Other Tasks
- Build Meaningful relationship with MNHPI Cargo Control and with MNHPI Planner for seamless execution of the load list.
- Attend to and Maintains friendly customer service with other department, internal client.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A. Education
- Graduate of 4 year course, Business or Engineering course is preferred but not required
B. Type of Experience & Length of Time Required
- At least 5 years experience working for a Shipping and Logistics company
- Experience working as planner and familiar on load planning preparation
C. Core Skill / Specialized Technical Skill / Special Talents Required
- Average oral & written communication skills
- Can work well under pressure
