Job Description:
Accounting Generalist
Accounts Payable (AP):
- -Review and verify invoices and payment requests.
- -Match invoices to purchase orders and delivery receipts.
- -Process payments to vendors and monitor due dates to avoid penalties.
- -Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Accounts Receivable (AR):
- -Prepare and issue billing invoices to customers.
- -Record and track incoming payments.
- -Follow up on overdue accounts and coordinate with the Sales or Collections team.
- -Reconcile customer accounts and resolve payment discrepancies.
General Accounting Support:
- -Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
- -Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
- -Prepare journal entries and support audit requirements.
- -Provide support in preparing financial reports and documentation.
Additional Requirement:
- Must be knowledgeable about BIR processes and regulations.
