Core Responsibilities
1. Support the Head Pastry Chef
- Assist in the daily operations of the pastry section.
- Follow recipes and instructions provided by the Head Pastry Chef.
- Take charge of the section in the absence of the Head Pastry Chef.
2. Food Preparation & Production
- Prepare a variety of baked goods and desserts including cakes, tarts, cookies, mousses, and plated desserts.
- Decorate and plate desserts for service, buffet, or display.
- Ensure consistency in product quality, flavor, and appearance.
3. Recipe Execution & Development
- Execute recipes accurately and consistently.
- Provide input or feedback on new products and seasonal menu development.
4. Inventory & Stock Management
- Monitor ingredient usage and assist in ordering supplies.
- Receive and properly store deliveries.
- Help minimize waste and manage stock rotation (FIFO).
5.Hygiene, Sanitation, Cleanliness, Health, and Safety Compliance
- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Ensure the kitchen areas (tables, counters, floors, restrooms) are kept clean and organized.
- Ensure tools, equipment, and wares are clean, sanitized, and properly stored and handled.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php11,500.00 - Php12,500.00 per month
