Role: Bookkeeper/Generalist (US-Client)
Compensation: Competitive Basic Salary
Benefits: HMO plus 2 Free Dependents, P1,500 Rice Allowance, Night Differential (If applicable).
Work Schedule: 5-day work week, Monday to Friday, 9pm to 6am Philippine time
Work Setup: Work-from-Home
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process pre-approved payables with security controls and proper documentation
- Verifying accuracy of timesheets to assist with in-house payroll across entities
- Monitor and categorize transactions across diverse business models
- Assist with cleanup and reconciliation of prior period transactions
- Support various monthly reporting requests requiring research and analysis.
- Identify and report accounting issues to the leadership team
- Identify process improvements for multi-entity operations
- Collaborate with management to develop solutions for new business scenarios.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience, with preference for multi-entity or complex business environments
- QuickBooks Desktop expertise with advanced features, including job costing and intercompany transactions
- Proficiency learning software—other platforms used here are Monday.com, LMN, Service AutoPilot, and High Level.
- Problem-solving mindset: Ability to research and resolve complex accounting issues independently
- Attention to detail: Critical for managing multiple entities with different requirements
- Process thinking: Can suggest improvements for efficiency and accuracy
- Adaptability: Comfortable learning new processes and software as business needs evolve
- Communication skills: Can explain complex financial concepts to non-accounting staff
- Organizational skills: Manages multiple priorities across different business entities
- Integrity: Handles sensitive financial information with complete confidentiality
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Experience with job costing for trades, construction, or project-based industries
- Background in e-commerce accounting, including sales tax management, is a plus.
- Experience with cost allocation in multi-division or multi-entity organizations.
