We’re hiring a Finance & Recruitment Admin Virtual Assistant to support one of our Australia-based clients in keeping their finance tasks and recruitment processes running like clockwork. If you're detail-oriented, reliable, and thrive in fast-paced environments—this role is for you!
Finance Admin Tasks
- Process accounts payable (match POs, process invoices, chase approvals)
- Reconcile transactions and monthly statements (bank, credit card, AMEX)
- Follow up on outstanding debts using pre-written templates
- Assist in end-of-month processes (e.g., journals, balance sheet checks)
- Use tools like Xero, Zahara, and GuardHouse
Recruitment & HR Support
- Post job ads, manage applicant tracking, and shortlist candidates
- Schedule interviews and communicate with internal team members
- Assist with onboarding: contracts, docs, and Employment Hero setup
- Keep HR systems up to date and help shape new SOPs as needed
General Admin
- Support ongoing tasks for the team using Asana, Teams, and Email
- Jump in to help wherever needed—this is a true support role
Who We’re Looking For
We’d love to meet you if you have:
- At least 2 years in a finance admin, HR, or VA role
- Experience with Xero, Employment Hero, and Asana
- Strong written English and attention to detail
- A proactive mindset, you don’t wait to be told what needs doing
