Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Healthcare Associate (CSR) with prior healthcare insurance experience, specializing in billing and enrollment. The role involves assisting members and providers with inquiries, processing enrollments, handling billing concerns, and ensuring accurate and timely updates to member accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, or chat inquiries from members, providers, and other stakeholders regarding healthcare insurance billing and enrollment.
- Process new enrollments, policy changes, and terminations accurately in accordance with company and regulatory guidelines.
- Address billing-related inquiries, including payment posting, invoice clarification, and account adjustments.
- Educate members on plan benefits, coverage details, and payment options.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the system, ensuring data integrity and compliance with HIPAA and other applicable regulations.
- Resolve issues promptly by coordinating with internal departments such as claims, provider services, and finance.
- Meet or exceed performance metrics, including quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction targets.
- Adhere to all company policies, security standards, and compliance requirements.
