Job Title: Japanese Interpreter

Job Description:
We are looking for a Japanese Interpreter to facilitate effective communication between Japanese and Filipino staff in both verbal and written formats. The interpreter will provide support during meetings, trainings, production-related discussions, and on-site operations to ensure smooth understanding and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and translate conversations (Japanese ⇔ English/Filipino) during meetings, trainings, and on-site activities.
- Translate technical documents, emails, manuals, reports, and internal memos from Japanese to English (and vice versa).
- Assist Japanese expats and local staff in day-to-day communications within the company.
- Provide language support during business negotiations, audits, and customer visits.
- Coordinate with different departments to ensure proper communication flow.
- Support Japanese managers in bridging cultural and language differences.
- May assist in admin tasks and coordination if necessary.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Graduate of any 4-year course (preferably in Language, Communication, or related field).
- Language Proficiency:
- Fluent in Japanese (preferably JLPT N2 or N3 certified)
- Proficient in English and Filipino (both verbal and written)
- Experience:
- At least 1–2 years experience as a Japanese interpreter or translator is preferred
- Experience in a manufacturing or production setting is a plus

- Flexible, culturally sensitive, and a team player
- Able to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to work onsite in Mactan, Cebu
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php38,000.00 - Php42,000.00 per month
