About the role
Eagle Asia Towing Corp. is seeking an experienced Marine Superintendent to join our team based in the Subic Bay Freeport Zone in Zambales and may occassionally visit other ports like Bataan, Manila, Cebu, CDO, Samar or other domestic port. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and safe operation of our fleet of vessels, ensuring they meet all regulatory requirements and industry standards.
What you'll be doing
- Manage the daily operations of our fleet, including scheduling, maintenance, and repairs
- Oversee the work of captains, crew, and other marine personnel to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Coordinate with port authorities, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of our operations
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the safety and reliability of our services
- Prepare reports and data analysis to inform business decisions and track key performance indicators
- Provide technical guidance and support to the operations team as needed
- Ensure all vessels and equipment are properly maintained and in compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
What we're looking for
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar marine superintendent or operations management role within the maritime industry
- Strong technical knowledge of vessel operations, maintenance, and regulatory requirements
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and respond quickly to changing situations
- Proven track record of optimising operations, improving efficiency, and enhancing safety
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with a range of stakeholders
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php50,000.00 - Php80,000.00 per month
