Job Description
As a Medical Biller, you’ll work with sophisticated US insurance systems to process claims and maintain the financial stability of a thriving medical practice. This role offers excellent experience in American healthcare billing processes and the opportunity to contribute directly to a clinic’s ability to continue providing essential sleep medicine services. You’ll develop expertise in medical billing while supporting patient access to care.
Responsibilities
- Submit accurate insurance claims for sleep study procedures and related services
- Diligently follow up on pending and denied claims to maximize reimbursement
- Process patient billing and payment posting with precision
- Verify insurance coverage and benefits for upcoming procedures
- Maintain detailed billing records and documentation for compliance purposes
Requirements
- Fluent English communication skills for insurance and patient interactions
- Medical billing experience preferred, though comprehensive training will be provided
- Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance and patient privacy requirements
- Familiarity with US insurance systems beneficial but not required
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to work US Central Time hours consistently
