Responsibilities
Job Description:
The successful candidate will play a central role in supporting communication between Japanese and local staff in a manufacturing environment located in Sto. Tomas, Batangas. The role involves real-time interpretation during meetings and training sessions, translation of technical documents and emails, and ensuring accurate and culturally appropriate communication. This is a contract-based role suited for individuals with excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret Japanese to English and vice versa during meetings and conferences.
Translate technical documents, emails, and manuals.
Assist in communication between the Japanese and local staff.
Provide language support during training sessions.
Ensure accurate and culturally appropriate translations.
Engage in interpretation and translation during the meetings and make documentation thereafter.
Qualifications
Mandatory:
Proficiency in Japanese (at least N3 or higher) and English languages.
Experience in interpretation and translation.
Knowledge of manufacturing industry terminology.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Job Type: Fixed term
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: Php50,000.00 - Php60,000.00 per month
