- The Supervisor is responsible for ensuring less delay/downtime in roll machines, in creating rolls consumption and inventory, and in ensuring the availability of materials and supplies necessary for repair and maintenance.
Key Role/s:
1. Ensures that delay/downtime is within committed budget
2. Checks availability and condition of rolls daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly
3. Schedules activities for preventive and corrective maintenance of rolls
4. Ensures that rolls, materials and supplies inspections and inventory is conducted
5. Checks if materials and supplies consumption are still within budget
6. Transfers rolls to another size
7. Conducts monthly inventory of materials and supplies
8. Checks the daily and weekly availability of spares and tools
9. Ensures the supervision of staff belonging to the department or section
10. Plans work activities for the department or section
11. Organizes work to be done in the department or section
12. Ensures the preparation, checking, consolidation and submission of work-related reports
13. Prepares monthly inventory of rolls and materials consumption
14. Records daily machine usage
15. Creates a machine maintenance checklist
16. Prepares daily, weekly, and monthly notching data records
17. Prepares roll transfer form to other size
18. Checks standard roll tag
19. Performs other related tasks assigned from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Licensed Mechanical Engineering Graduate
- Minimum of 2 to 4 year experience in related field
- Knowledge in Mechanical Engineering/Technology
- Knowledge in Machining and Programming
- Applied Mathematics Measures
- Decision Making on Delay Reduction
- Computer Competency
- Planning and Organizing
