We are seeking a reliable and experienced Small Truck Units Fleet Coordinator to join our team.
The Fleet Coordinator for Small Truck Units is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, maintenance, scheduling, and compliance of a fleet of small trucks (e.g., 4-wheeler, 6-wheeler units). This role ensures that vehicles are roadworthy, drivers are properly assigned and briefed, and delivery operations are efficient, cost-effective, and compliant with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Fleet Operations & Scheduling
- Coordinate and assign small truck units for daily deliveries and logistics operations.
- Monitor route efficiency and vehicle utilization.
- Maintain up-to-date records of vehicle assignments and usage.
2. Maintenance & Repairs
- Schedule regular preventive maintenance and inspections for all small truck units.
- Monitor repair logs and coordinate with mechanics or third-party service providers.
- Ensure all trucks meet safety and operational standards before dispatch.
3. Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain updated vehicle registration, insurance, and inspection documents.
- Ensure compliance with government transport regulations (e.g., LTO, LTFRB).
- Track and renew expiring documents such as vehicle registration and driver licenses.
4. Driver Coordination
- Communicate schedules, routes, and instructions clearly to drivers.
- Monitor driver performance and compliance with company policies.
- Assist in resolving driver-related concerns or issues on the road.
5. Fuel & Cost Monitoring
- Track and report fuel consumption for each unit.
- Monitor vehicle-related expenses and recommend cost-saving measures.
- Assist in budget preparation and monitoring of fleet-related expenses.
6. Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on fleet performance, fuel usage, and downtime.
- Report incidents, delays, or vehicle breakdowns promptly to supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- At least 1–2 years of experience in fleet coordination, vehicle dispatch, or logistics (preferably handling small trucks).
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and transport regulations.
- Proficient in MS Excel, Google Sheets, or fleet management software.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and in fast-paced environments.
