Job description:
· Meeting with the director to determine production vision
· Manipulating film and video footage using modern editing techniques
· Maintaining continuity while moving shots according to scene value
· Trimming footage and putting together the rough project
· Ensuring the project follows a logical sequence
· Consulting with the Director and Production Team throughout the project
· Creating the final cut for broadcasting
· Taking a brief to grasp production team’s needs & spec0ification
· Reviewing shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on SCMR’s value and contribution to continuity
· Ensure video footage is accurate and compelling
· Create rough and final cuts
· Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects
· Will oversee the camera, lighting, design, and sound crew members to produce a polished final product
· Will manage deadlines for the program to air it’s set time, TV editors are responsible for meeting multiple daily Radio, TV, and social media production deadlines
· Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency for all station platforms
· Responsible for operating a variety of technical equipment including single and multiple portable cameras, remote control and electronic cameras, cranes, and mobile mountings
· Assembling and setting up equipment, planning, preparing, and rehearsing scenes
· Creatively framing, capturing action and follow camera scripts
· Liaising with lighting and technical staff
· Respond quickly to directions
· Performs other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.

Pay: From Php21,139.58 per month
