Agricultural Research Supervisor
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the installation of trials, application of treatments, and systematic collection of data, ensuring compliance with protocols
- Implement quality control measures to uphold the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of experimental data
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to mobilize workforce and secure necessary resources for timely experiment execution
- Supervise data processing, including preliminary statistical analysis and interpretation, to support technical reporting and recommendations
- Foster collaborative and professional relationships with Operations, proactively addressing field-level issues
- Help in managing labor utilization within the section, ensuring compliance with government labor standards and adherence to projected manhours
- Assist in monitoring and controlling running expenditures in coordination with Plantation Finance to ensure budget adherence
- Ensure compliance with company-wide cost reduction initiatives through efficient resource and cost management
- Build a professional, harmonious relationship with subordinates, peers, and direct and indirect superiors
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor of Science in Agriculture major in Agronomy, Horticulture, Entomology or Nematology
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in agricultural fieldwork, research trials and related activities
- Strong knowledge of experimental design, data analysis, and applied agricultural research
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work in both laboratory and field conditions, including travel to remote sites
- Must be willing to relocate Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon
