Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and highly skilled Head Chef to lead our kitchen operations, with a strong emphasis on recipe development and menu innovation for light meals and breakfast offerings. The ideal candidate is a culinary professional who thrives on creativity, consistency, and excellence, and who can help shape a unique dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
- Conceptualize, test, and develop innovative breakfast and light meal recipes in alignment with the brand’s vision and market trends.
- Collaborate with owners or brand managers for menu planning, costing, and seasonal rollouts.
- Train and manage kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to recipes and efficient kitchen workflow.
- Maintain inventory levels, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure proper food storage and waste management.
- Monitor food costs and labor expenses, seeking efficiencies without compromising quality.
- Enforce food safety and sanitation standards as per local regulations.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience as Head Chef, Sous Chef, or equivalent leadership role.
- Specialization or strong background in breakfast and light meals (e.g., eggs, bowls, sandwiches, toasts, grains, etc.).
- Experience in R&D, test kitchen work, or menu development is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of current food trends, health-conscious meals, and ingredient sourcing.
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional training is a plus.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays, as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php20,000.00 - Php25,000.00 per month
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
Supplemental Pay:
- 13th month salary
