We're hiring a Reservation Agent to manage room bookings, guest communications, and reservation systems with speed and accuracy. This full-time, on-site role is key to ensuring guests enjoy a smooth and welcoming experience before arrival. You’ll handle both voice and non-voice interactions, coordinate with key departments, and monitor multiple platforms including Opera, Expedia, Booking.com, and others.
Responsibilities
- Log into and manage multiple booking systems (Opera, Reserve, Expedia, etc.)
- Monitor calls, emails, and OTA messages; ensure timely, professional responses
- Conduct daily handovers and collaborate with front office leadership
- Handle wholesaler bookings, rate plans, and net rate confidentiality
- Send pre-arrival emails to Hyatt and VIP guests
- Generate and analyze reservation reports for cancellations, bookings, and actions needed
- Ensure billing and routing setups are accurate for various payment types
- Maintain key reference documents (Rate Plan & Property Cheat Sheets)
- Communicate guest and booking info to key departments (Housekeeping, Finance, Sales, etc.)
- Prepare and distribute daily checklists to key operations leaders
Qualifications
- High school graduate; hospitality or tourism course preferred
- At least 1 year of reservation or front desk experience in a hotel or hospitality environment
- Excellent written and spoken English communication
- Customer-centric attitude and professional tone
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability
- Proficient in reservation systems (Opera, Expedia, Booking.com, etc.)
- Familiarity with ServiceNow and productivity tools (Google Workspace, MS Office)
- Flexible to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
