Job Description
The HR supervisor ensures the smooth operation of support services in a company. S/he is charged the supervision of all human resource programs and various employee-related matters and other needs as required by management.
Reporting Relationship
Directly reports to HR Manager
Concurrently reportsto Operations Managers and their Assistants.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee daily duties of employees to ensure that quality standards are being met and proper procedures are being followed;
- In charge of ensuring that HR polices are in order (e.g., Hiring, Training, Onboarding, Payroll, Employee Discipline, Labor Relations and other reports and tasks required by the operations)
- Give guidance to employees in handling errors, problems, complaints and/or disputes
- Coordinate work schedules and duty assignments
- Work with other managers to coordinate workplace activities with other departments, units or teams
- Implement company or departmental policies, procedures and quality/service standards
- Supporting the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
- Providing counseling on policies and procedures
- Being actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process
- Prepare and submit employee payroll files
- Create and implement effective onboarding plans
- Develop training and development programs
- Assist in performance management processes
- Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues
- Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance
- Maintain records, including 201 filing, personnel movements, and other documentation
- Other reports as required by management
Qualifications
· College Graduate of HR – or management related four year course, preferably Office Administration/ Operations Management, Business Admin major in Human Resource Management
· Preferably with at least 1 year HR supervisorial experience
· Possessed with excellent oral and written communication skills, strong analytical and reporting skills, attention to detail; analytical skills; critical thinking skills; computer skills, particularly with spreadsheets
· Computer literate
