About Us
We are a growing U.S.-based telecom company with a strong and expanding presence in the Philippines. Our team in Cebu plays a critical role in supporting our global operations. We are looking for a proactive and experienced Human Resources Generalist who understands Philippine labor laws and can manage end-to-end HR functions to support our local workforce.
Role Overview
As our HR Generalist, you will be responsible for handling all HR-related tasks for our company, including timekeeping, employee relations, compliance, and coordination with our leadership team. You will be the go-to person for everything people-related in our PH office.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily HR operations especially for our Cebu team
- Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws, DOLE regulations, and company policies
- Manage employee records, contracts, and government-mandated benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, etc.)
- Handle timekeeping, payroll coordination, and attendance tracking
- Support performance evaluations, employee feedback, and PIP tracking
- Assist in organizing employee engagement and training programs
- Serve as a point of contact for HR-related questions or issues
- Liaise with our U.S. leadership and align on workforce strategy and culture
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of HR experience, ideally with a BPO, tech, or telecom background
- Strong working knowledge of Philippine labor laws
- Experience handling timekeeping and payroll systems
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and report clearly to U.S.-based leadership
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting a U.S. company or working with remote/global teams
- Familiarity with labor relations and employee disciplinary procedures
- Ability to manage change and influence company culture in a growing environment
