The Human Resource Officer is responsible for managing the full spectrum of HR functions within the law office, including recruitment of legal and support staff, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws and firm policies. The role ensures that the workplace remains professional, efficient, and aligned with the standards of the legal industry.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Oversee the end-to-end recruitment and selection process, from job posting to onboarding.
● Administer employee records, contracts, and HR documentation in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
● Implement and monitor HR policies, procedures, and guidelines across the organization.
● Assist in the development and implementation of training, learning, and development programs.
● Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling.
● Oversee timekeeping, attendance monitoring, and leave management.
● Coordinate employee benefits, government-mandated contributions, and company welfare programs.
● Support and facilitate performance evaluation processes and recommend initiatives to improve employee engagement.
● Ensure compliance with labor laws and maintain updated knowledge of HR trends and best practices.
● Collaborate with management in developing HR strategies that support organizational goals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
● Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, or related field.
● At least 3-5 years of experience in HR or related functions.
● Knowledge of labor laws, HR policies and best practices.
● Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
● Proficient in MS office application and HR systems.
● Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
● Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
