Job Summary
- The Lab Aide provides essential support to clinical laboratory operations by assisting with specimen handling, equipment maintenance, and general clerical tasks. This role ensures workflow and contributes to high-quality patient care by maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the laboratory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sterilize glassware, instruments, and work areas.
- Perform basic clerical tasks such as data entry and filing.
- Transport specimens to appropriate testing areas or sections.
- Support medical technologists in non-technical procedures.
- Assist lab personnel with routine tasks such as labeling, sorting, and preparing samples or materials.
- Maintain laboratory inventory by stocking supplies and notifying supervisors of shortages.
- Dispose of biohazardous waste in compliance with safety and infection control policies.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php14,300.00 - Php15,000.00 per month
