The Learning and Development Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing training programs specific to commissary operations. This role is vital in establishing structured learning systems for commissary staff—ensuring they are equipped with the right knowledge, skills, and behaviors to support consistent product quality, safety, and operational efficiency.
As BIGGS Inc. continues to grow, it is essential to standardize and professionalize backend operations. The Learning and Development Officer will work closely with the Commissary Manager, HR, QA, and Production teams to design, roll out, and monitor training programs tailored to production, food safety, equipment handling, SOP compliance, and employee development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, HR Development, Food Technology, Industrial Engineering, or any related field
- At least 2-3 years of experience in training or operations (preferably in manufacturing, commissary, or food production)
- Knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., GMP, HACCP) is highly preferred
- Strong skills in training design, facilitation, and evaluation
- Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written Filipino and English
- Proficient in MS Office or Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple training activities simultaneously
- Willing to work on-site daily at San Felipe, Naga City
- Can handle pressure and adjust to operational challenges
- Must be approachable, cheerful, and proactive in building a culture of learning and accountability

Pay: Php15,000.00 - Php20,000.00 per month
