Role Summary
Leads and oversees the end-to-end operational aspects of e-commerce live stream events, ensuring seamless execution, optimal viewer experience, and efficient fulfillment coordination. This role focuses on process efficiency, team guidance, and strategic recommendations related to live stream logistics, working closely with the warehouse for fulfillment and with platforms for strategic live stream partnerships and technical needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage the Livestream Operations team
- Set team goals, assign tasks, and conduct performance reviews.
- Provide coaching and training to enhance team skills in live stream operations and coordination.
- Operational Strategy & Oversight:
- Develop and implement efficient operational processes for live stream preparation, execution, and post-event fulfillment.
- Oversee coordination with the warehouse for timely and accurate fulfillment of live stream orders.
- Liaise with e-commerce platforms for live stream-specific technical support, feature requests, and strategic operational partnerships.
- Monitor and analyze team performance and live stream operational metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Process Efficiency & Optimization:
- Focus on streamlining live stream operational workflows, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
- Implement best practices for inventory management and product flow related to live stream events.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive operational guides and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the team.
- Strategic Input & Recommendations:
- Provide valuable input and recommendations to the ECom Department Head/Manager regarding live stream operational strategies, platform partnerships, and team development needs.
- Stay informed of industry trends and new technologies related to live stream operations and logistics.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration between the Livestream Operations team and other relevant internal teams (e.g., Sales, Creative, Content, Warehouse).
- Act as a key point of contact for other departments regarding live stream operational capabilities and needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Communications, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in e-commerce operations, live stream production, or logistics, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of e-commerce platform live stream functionalities, operational best practices, and fulfillment processes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret operational data, team performance metrics, and logistical challenges.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage a team, build relationships with platform partners, and collaborate effectively across departments.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets (or Microsoft Excel) for data analysis, reporting, and team performance tracking.
