Responsible for sending Request for Quotations (RFQ) to Forwarders and Courier Service provider, summarize and analyze quotes and recommends approval. Responsible in gathering shipment forecast, does shipment planning and recommends the most economical service type and mode of transport.
II. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Sends request for quotation to reputable Forwarder and Courier service providers for any import and export requirement.
2. Prepares cost comparison of the quotations received. Simulate the data and recommends approval for the lowest bid.
3. Updates list of Approved Forwarders and their rates. Coordinate with Traffic billing for any change in rates.
4. Analyze Freight and Handling expense and recommends improvement actions as necessary
