Responsibilities:
- Prepare Bill of Quantities, takeoffs, and estimates.
- Determine variables for cost and other estimates.
- Read, analyse, or use construction plans to prepare takeoffs and estimates.
- Pull a comprehensive estimation of labour costs, materials, and construction timeline.
- Obtain and review pricing from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Build relationships with key vendors (subcontractors, suppliers, and engineers).
- Purchase of materials and Quantity Surveying.
- General project and contract administration support as required.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements:
- Experience as an Estimator or Quantity Surveyor, or similar role.
- Knowledge in PlanSwift, BlueBeam, and/or other estimating tools.
- Knowledge in AutoCAD and/or other design software.
- Knowledge of the Australian building code is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Thorough and reliable, possess a positive attitude, and are capable of taking on challenges and achieving results.
- Client-focused with strong attention to detail.
